It was amazingly subtle indeed.
But! Tom went in to the oldbbs and made a very temporary thread. Simply said "April Fools" as the title and said, "Clever of you to look here". That was it. No one would look there. There are no real links to it. Amazing, actually. Of course, after I got it, he deleted the thread. It's no more than a place to archive the old.
Sad I couldn't reply. Took a shot and sent it to Tom. Got my money. went back and it was gone.
Kinda like Noogrounds, in that sense.
