Tick, tock. Tick, tock.

The Fab Faction was something created out of fun, humor, and idiocy. It was started in The Fun Thread In that thread I developed the original Fab sig: http://bbsimg.ngfiles.com/1/22292000/n gbbs4d26c65a723b8.jpg

The Fabbots liked it and requested their own Fab sig, which I made. We then proceeded to making the Fab Club which was quickly shut down. With the Fabs enraged/annoyed I decided to make a group, that I originally planned to be a spam group - The Fab Faction. Of course, I learned quickly that spam group could have their accounts deleted, then switched gears to make it a decent flash making group -- one that would tutors new users, maybe.

However, we only got our recognition on the BBS, so I decided to make it a subculture group of Newgrounds -- The Fabs. I went to a free forum making site and developed the Fab Faction forums. We had a little party with idiocy. I submitted two flashes in the name of Fab Faction;
1.) Ball Ripper
2.) Facebok Girl

Facebook Girl was very well received and I decided to make our group a bit more serious, seeing our recognition grow. I wanted to seem a bit more proffessional, but being a group about Fabs, maybe that wasn't the best way to go.

At any rate, we got our attention, even an idiot who claimed to be a troll decided to make the Anti-Fab group. I found it very humorous, but later "trolled" him by trying out a publicity stunt. I asked him to preach the Anti-Fab thing once more, by going to our site, posting a bit, then claiming Anti-Fab once more. He did for a while then got wise. True, I wanted more recognition, but I got a laugh by making him look foolish.

However, we are in a serious decline. The Forums are rather inactive, the users seem to not care anymore, and no one is bothering to recruit.

i, also, am overworked. I simply cannot continue working by myself on making content for the fabs. I should have realized that underage users with little to no experience in Flash and Photoshop would be attracted to fab and Fab Faction, yet I thought I would at least get one. Just one good guy. But, I was wrong. I wanted someone to help me design the site and looks, make the site feel more Fab and I suppose free -- seeing as rules are a no with Fabs, and someone to help with the flashes -- all in the name of Fab. But I was wrong. Wrong about it all. Wasn't wrong in the sense of getting things started, I knew when to strike. But wrong in my members.

it's fine, I like most of them. The best was probably killaboy60, Rocksbury, yet he had his limits. Oh well.

Anyhow, it's time to hang up the lousy dog and pony show. Time to end something before it really began. It was a good run, I suppose Two months, but we got noticed, never did we reach our expected peak. I'll keep the forums open for a few more days -- let the members who DO give a shit say their farewells, I suppose. But, the time will come.

With no help on the design and flash part, no enthusiastic members, no recruitment, no care, all I can say is:
